The Pella School Board has given goals to Superintendent Greg Ebeling for the upcoming academic year.
Ebeling says as part of his evaluation process, the board reviews priorities for his administrative duties. He tells KNIA/KRLS News they told him to review how they implement change in the system and the processes required in order to do so.
“As you improve your school district, it does take an implementation of change, so my main goal for this next year is to document what our change process has looked like in the system and then look for two areas that we can implement and improve that change process,” Ebeling says.
Ebeling’s goal last academic year was to assess the climate in the district among staff and gauge their overall satisfaction. He says monitoring changes in the schools may help teachers adjust to different initiatives and priorities.
