The P-C-M Boys Basketball Squad looked to pull the upset over East Marshall last night and came up just short in a 50-48 loss. The game was back and forth with neither team leading by more the seven. The game was tied at 48 with 22 seconds remaining when East Marshall got a drive of the baseline and made a layup with 1.8 seconds remaining. After a clock malfunction that allowed P-C-M to inbound the ball twice, the Reed Worth’s desperation 60 footer fell just short. Coach Fred Lorensen told KNIA/KRLS Sports the plan was to clog the inside and hope East Marshall would misfire from the outside. Reed Worth and Jackson Thomas led P-C-M with 11 points each. P-C-M finishes with an 11-12 record.
