The 2017 Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament was a success for some area high school wrestlers.

In total 15 area high school wrestlers took the trip to Des Moines this past week for the tournament with 13 of the wrestlers finishing their season on the podium. Three area wrestlers finished runner up in their respective weight classes as Egan Lickiss from Indianola, Chaz Clark from Pleasantaville and Xavier Miller from PCM all finished in 2nd place.
