A year with just one senior meant a lot of growing up for many members of the PCM Boys Basketball team this season, as they went 11-12 on the season and were ousted in the second round of district play against East Marshall.
The Mustangs lone senior, Mark Bruxvoort, averaged 7.4 points per game, grabbed 81 rebound, and had 52 assists. Not eye-popping numbers, but Bruxvoort’s importance to the Mustangs did not come only on the scoreboard, but rather coming from providing a model example for the young Mustangs to look up to. Head Coach Fred Lorensen told KNIA/KRLS Sports, that he is really pleased with the intangibles brought to the table by Bruxvoort. A full recap of the Mustangs season can be heard on the Knoxville Hyvee Radio Coaches Corner in the coming weeks.
