The Pella Little Dutch will play the final basketball game at Pella High School for the 2017 season when they host Carlisle in the 3A District 13 Finals tonight.

Pella dispatched of Saydel 90-40 following Carlisle’s 72-69 in a doubleheader Monday to set up the substate seven play-in game.

Assistant Coach Phil Hemming says Carlisle has a core of athletes to watch for and that they attempt to knock teams out of rhythm with different looks. The Wildcats and Dutch have met once in each of the last five seasons, with Pella capturing victory in all five. Both teams are top ten in scoring in Class 3A — Pella is tops at over 75 per game, Carlisle is 9th at 66.
