The Knoxville Community School Board met in regular session on Monday.

The board approved an agreement for the school summer lunch program as well as a sharing agreement between the Pleasantville and Knoxville soccer programs. The board also reviewed the 2016 fiscal year audit as well as approved a proposed fiscal year 2018 budget to be used as a working document. The proposed budget includes budget cuts that would save the district a potential $221,000. After the conclusion of the meeting the school board met in closed session to discuss contract negotiation strategies.
