Hoping that the weather holds, the Simpson College baseball team is starting their Iowa Conference slate against Loras this afternoon.

The 3-6 Storm have run into trouble with a tough schedule and their pitching staff giving up early runs, but have also lost three one run games to skew their record the other way. Loras comes in at 6-6 on the season, and is also starting their Iowa Conference portion of their schedule today. Assuming the weather cooperates, the doubleheader is scheduled to start at 3pm with the second game tentatively scheduled for 5:30pm. Both games can be heard live on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA with pregame starting at 2:45, Andrew Swadner has the play-by-play.
