The Marion County Democrats will hold their monthly dinner meeting tonight at Deng’s Garden in Knoxville.

The monthly meeting is a chance for local democrats to discuss current legislation, as well as receive reports from other democratic events and meetings across the state. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. but the public is invited to join the democrats for dinner at 5:30 p.m. The Marion County Democrats will also be discussing their upcoming Cinco De Mayo celebration that will take place on May 4th at Casa Grande Mexican Restaurant in Knoxville, and will feature a speaker from the American Civil Liberties Union.
