Last week everyone was all ready to go and motors were getting heat, but Mother Nature had other plans and sent everyone home after a couple rain showers at the Knoxville Raceway. So with a dry and cool weather forecast…the 64th season of racing at the half-mile will get underway tonight. Last week 21 rookies singed in to the three classes. One of the rookies who is moving to the 360s is 2016 305 champion Christian Bowman. Bowman admits he has not had a lot of early season time in a 360, but will give a go and hopes to be competitive out of the box. Expect a bigger than normal car count as the World of Outlaws race in Missouri was rained out and fans could see some outlaw drivers wonder into Knoxville for tonight’s action.
