The Knoxville Farmers Market will open for their first day of business of 2017 tomorrow.
The market will run from 8 a.m. to noon and will now be located at the Hy-Vee parking lot. The farmers market will be at their new location throughout the summer. Kathy Priest with Knoxville Farmers Market tells KNIA/KRLS News the market moved to the Hy-Vee location because it is a better venue which will allow for more traffic and a better chance for residents to see what the market has to offer. The farmers market serves as way for Knoxville residents to purchase and enjoy produce that is grown locally in Marion County. The market will also be open Tuesday evenings from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
