The Pella boys finished second at the district boys tennis meet yesterday played in Fairfield at Maharishi High School.

Host Maharishi won the meet with 22 points and Pella was second with 20.

Knoxville was also at the meet, and neither the Panthers or the Little Dutch were able to place an individual or doubles team in the top two to advance to the individual state meet.

As runners-up, Pella advances to the team sub-state, where they’ll host a match Saturday morning.
