The Knoxville Street Department started work at the Skate Park on Monday.

Due to safety concerns two ramps had to be removed. The reason for the removal of the ramps was because of damage to the ramps caused by dry rot. Due to the Young’s Park Master Plan completed in 2015 the two ramps will not be replaced. Instead a new skate park be constructed using concrete at the Youngs Park location.
