Pella Christian’s Graham Howerzyl and Kendan Veenstra each shot 91 and failed to advance past the class 2-A district golf meet yesterday at Lake Panorama Golf Course.

Both Eagle seniors were participating yesterday as individuals at the meet. While it would have taken an 84 to advance to state, Coach Jim Dingeman says that they each finished in the top half of the field and cold, windy conditions put several scores in the 100s.

Yesterday’s meet marked the final meet of the season for Pella Christian.
