The comedic play “Arsenic and Old Lace” will take the stage at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center beginning tomorrow evening.
“Arsenic and Old Lace” was first produced on Broadway in 1941. Director of the play Greg May tells KNIA/KRLS News “Arsenic and Old Lace” is a story about two elderly sisters from Brooklyn who view their poisoning of lonely old men as an act of charity. There will be five separate showings with the first showing to take place tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by cash or check at the door for $10.00 one hour before the performance.
