WesleyLife celebrated their 70th anniversary as an organization at The Cottages in Pella Friday.
CEO of WesleyLife Rob Kretzinger tells KNIA/KRLS News that WesleyLife continues to expand the resources of their ministry to serve older adults throughout the state and at Hearthstone, a Ministry of Wesleylife in Pella.
“The last five years or so has created so much change and shift,” he says. “People are living longer, healthier lives, and we’re just trying to expand and shift our ministry so that we are serving people where they want to live, which often times isn’t necessary at one of our campus locations, but in their homes.”
Kretzinger helped recognize Hearthstone employee Marlene Bryan, who received a special, company-wide award for her service during the ceremony.
Residents and staff of The Cottages were also rewarded as part of the anniversary event.
