The City of Knoxville along with the Knoxville Raceway have come to an agreement for providing trash services during Nationals.

Knoxville City Manager Aaron Adams tells KNIA/KRLS News the city will cover the Youngs Park area and the Raceway will begin trash service where Ideal Ready Mix was and have trash receptacles all they way down Lincoln Street up to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. The city will then have trash cans from there up until the old Godfather’s Pizza building. Adams says the biggest takeaway for residents is that trash services will be provided, and he appreciates the cooperation with the Knoxville Raceway for helping with the service.
