Nearwood Winery Tasting Room will host a special Art and Author showcase starting Sunday, July 30th through Saturday August 12th.

Local artists and painters will have their work on display during the showcase as well as special activities for anyone who attends. Residents will be able to sip locally-produced wine by Nearwood Winery while enjoying the works from featured artists Frank Mathias of Knoxville, Nash Cox of Chariton and Janet Bergeron of West Des Moines. Published authors from the Marion County Writer’s Workshop will have books for sale and will be available for book signings. Musical performances will be on Friday evening, August 4th and Saturday afternoon, August 12th.
