Knoxville Fire and Rescue will be hosting a lunch Saturday, August 12th Immediately following the Nationals Parade.

The fire department will be serving a choice of pulled pork sandwich, bratwurst, hotdog with corn on the cob, beans a dessert and drink for $10 a plate. Chief Jim Mitchell with Knoxville Fire and Rescue tells KNIA/KRLS News all proceeds of the lunch will go to the purchase of a UTV or Utility Terrain Vehicle for the department. Mitchell says the UTV will provide fire suppression and the ability to transport a patient from a remote location. Mitchell adds, the UTV is great for getting through crowded areas.
