The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session Monday.

The council will hold a public hearing for the Grand Theater easement. They will then consider the approval for a resolution approving the transfer of an interest in real property by easement following the public hearing. The council will hold a discussion and take possible action regarding a loan request from the Low Rent Housing Board. The council will consider the approval of a special meeting date of August 14th at 9 a.m. to hold interviews for the vacant council position. They will also consider the approval of moving the regularly scheduled August 21st city council meeting to 5 p.m. instead of 6:15 p.m. Monday’s meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. and will take place at the Municipal Building Council Chambers.
