As drought conditions worsen, it still may be awhile before drought-busting rains make their way through south-central Iowa.

According to the latest long term forecast from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Climate Division, there is a slight chance of higher than normal precipitation falling throughout Iowa over the next two weeks. However, little rain is in the forecast over the next week.
