On Saturday Knoxville Fire and Rescue held there annual Nationals lunch inside the Knoxville fire department.

Knoxville residents as well as visitors payed $10 a plate which featured a pulled pork sandwich, bratwurst, hotdog with corn on the cob, beans a dessert and drink. Chief Jim Mitchell tells KNIA/KRLS News it’s awesome to see everyone’s support, and it speaks volumes to his department that they are doing the right things for the right reasons and that people appreciate it. All proceeds of the lunch will go to the purchase of a UTV or Utility Terrain Vehicle for the Department which Chief Mitchell estimates will cost close to $30,000.
