Three physician assistants have joined Pella Regional Health Center’s medical staff at Pella Medical Clinic.

Kim Seda, Mindy Southammavong, and Quintin Treadway are now taking new patients. Chief of Clinic Services at Pella Regional Lezlie Morris says all three work in conjunction with physicians for same day appointments to provide better access to health care for Pella Regional patients.

Seda earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Iowa and then went on for her degree in University of Iowa’s Physician Assistant program in 1985. She has worked within a clinic setting since then and has extensive experience in primary care, emphasizing preventive medicine and patient education.

Southmammavong earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Iowa and then her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Des Moines University College of Health in 2015. She has worked within a clinic setting since then and has valuable experience evaluating and treating a variety of patients.

Treadway earned his bachelor’s and then his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from University of Nebraska in 2007. He has years of experience in emergency and primary care settings within the military. That experience led to a variety of skills in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.

Pink eye
Minor cuts in which bleeding has stopped
Sprain, rash or sunburn
Insect sting
Fever
Colds, coughs and sore throats
