A Pella man is accused of breaking in windows at the home of a woman he’s been ordered to have no contact with.
Jason Hol, 35, is charged with second degree burglary, a class C felony, and violation of a no contact order. According to court records, Hol is accused of first knocking on the door of the victim’s apartment Monday evening, and when she recognized his voice, she attempted to hide and refused to let him in. Hol then broke a window by kicking it in, and the woman inside retreated to her bathroom. In her call to police, she indicated that Hol had been physically abusive to her in the past.
Hol then left, and was later located by police. While in custody, police say that Hol admitted to the acts and intended to harm the victim.
