With the community of Knoxville set to vote for school board on September 12th, voters will also have a chance to vote on Proposition A on the same ballot.
A yes vote for Proposition A will allow the Knoxville School District to install eight new tennis courts and a full-sized outdoor basketball court, while also lowering property taxes for the community, according to school administration. A forum that provides voters with more information about the project and allows residents to ask questions will be held on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center, directly prior to the Meet the Candidates event. KNIA/KRLS News will be broadcasting the forum live on KNIA 1320 AM and 95.3 FM.
