Local Cub Scouts have begun selling popcorn to help raise funds for future scouting events.
The scouts can be seen in front of local stores throughout Knoxville and will soon be going door to door. Among the scouts selling popcorn are three brothers Kyl, Tristan and Noah Bauer, who can be seen in front of the Knoxville Hy-Vee Saturday mornings. Kyl Bauer tells KNIA/KRLS News they are selling both Iowa State and Iowa popcorn jugs with different types of blends which include caramel and cheddar cheese popcorn. Tristan Bauer says him and his brothers are trying to sell as much popcorn as possible so kids like them can go to camp and do fun activities. The Pella Cub Scouts Pack 374 will be holding an information meeting/ sign-up night on Thursday, September 14th at Madison Elementary beginning at 6:30 p.m.
