Marion County residents have just a few days left to get their acts together as auditions for the “Puttin’ on the Ritz” a New Year’s variety show will begin on Monday.

Vice President of the Knoxville Music Boosters Annie Leonard tells KNIA/KRLS News the show is not a contest and is a showcase of all the talented people in Marion County. Leonard says in addition to the on-stage acts, the visual arts will be showcased in the lobby of the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. She says the show is looking for all types of artists to show off their talents. Auditions will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m on Saturday, September 16th. Call back auditions will be held on Saturday, September 30th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The show will be held the evening of December 30th at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center.
