Pella Christian held its own at the Iowa City West tournament on Saturday, going 2-3 on the day.

The Eagles stared with a pair of losses to Dowling (21-19, 21-12) and Mount Vernon (21-10, 19-21, 15-5), then bounced back by beating Iowa City Liberty (21-17, 19-21, 15-10) and Mediapolis (25-20, 24-26, 15-10).

In the final match of the day, the Eagles lost a hard fought rematch with Iowa City Liberty (25-20, 23-25, 15-13).

Pella Christian is now 5-7 on the season and will play Norwalk on Tuesday night.
