Central College faculty are holding a series of lectures this academic year centering around water.

Associate Dean of Faculty Brian Peterson tells KNIA/KRLS News that throughout the next eight months, different professors will discuss various aspects about the importance of the resource.

The series begins on Monday, September 18th with Dr. Paul Weihe discussing wetlands. Weihe will talk about how Iowa’s wetlands are particularly valuable, but threatened. The Central College Faculty Lectures are from 7 to 8 pm in the Boat/Moore rooms in Maytag Student Center, and are open to all.
