Josh Richards grabbed the lead on lap 19 and held on for the win in night one of the 14th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals last night at the Knoxville Raceway. The night got off to a late start when rain delayed things for about an hour, but track crews got the racing surface ready for the night. Jared Landers was second with Jonathan Davenport, Brandon Shepherd and Don O’Neal in the top five. The drivers have the option of racing tonight and their top score for the two nights of racing will set the field for Saturday’s championship night.
