At the most recent Pella School Board meeting, administration shared details about achievement milestones in the district and goals to improve proficiency.
Superintendent Greg Ebeling says data was released about how students are performing in core areas of learning, and that the district remains ahead of the state overall in reading, math, and science at around 89 to 90% proficiency. According to some of the numbers posted at this week’s school board meeting, the average ACT score over the last three years has been 24.6 as well, which is over three points better than the state’s average.
