The Pleasantville Trojans made quick work of the Des Moines Christian Lions Friday night in a 66-8 route.

The Trojans would score quickly on two blocked punts by Chaz Clark to give the Trojans an early 13-0 lead before the Pleasantville offense even saw the field. When the offense finally did get on the field Hunter Tyree would take the very first offensive play 44 yards for a touchdown and the floodgates were open. The Trojans would put their second string player in during the 2nd quarter and cruised to a 54-0 halftime lead. Friday night showed the Pleasantville Trojans can be dominate on all sides of the ball as three touchdowns came from special teams and one from defense on a 76 yard pick six. Coach Graig Eichenberger tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team had the best week of practice since he has been coach and they were just fully focused and ready to play. The Trojans will now try to duplicate the same effort this week in practice as they prepare for their homecoming game against Woodward Academy.
