The PCM girls cross country team won their home meet last night at the Gateway Golf Course in Monroe, scoring 45 points while Knoxville placed second with 85, and while the Pella Christian girls didn’t qualify for a team score, Emma Kolb was the first place finisher.
Kirsten Ives was PCM’s top finisher on the girls side, while the Mustangs had 5 of their girls with top finishes. Knoxville was led by Ashley Cumpton and Mckayla McGill in 11th and 12th place overall.
On the boys side, Pella Christian finished in second place with 66 points led by Lucas Bandstra in 7th. PCM was paced by Jason Stafford in 7th and Beau Webb in 9th, while Knoxville finished in 16th overall and was led by Jordan Bacon in 15th place.
