The PCM School District recently completed a wide range of renovations throughout the district, with more improvements on the way.

Superintendent Brad Jermeland tells KNIA/KRLS News that a voter-approved bond initiative, in addition to sales tax money and PPEL, provided funding for the projects at Monroe Elementary, Prairie City Elementary, and PCM Middle School.

“Each week, we have meetings with the construction management company, architects, and contractors. The meetings allow us to collaboratively plan and address current issues as well as discuss the timeline in order to be proactive. All phases or portions of the projects are tracking to be completed as originally planned,” he says.

Jermeland says significant progress was made at upgrades in all three buildings. He says construction will continue in the next school year for the overall $20 million project.
