Traveling all the way to Greenfield to Nodaway Valley High School last night for a meet, the Pleasantville Trojan cross country team saw some top finishes.

Josh Pulse for the boys finished in 5th place overall, which bodes well for the senior runner as there were plenty of runners that the Trojans will see at both the Pride of Iowa Conference meet which will be held on the same course in Greenfield next Tuesday. Melena Johnson finished in 16th place overall, leading the girls to an 8th place finish. The Trojans will have the rest of the week and the weekend before starting the conference meet.
