One year later, with two undefeated teams in the same situation as 2016, the Pleasantville Trojan football team is looking for redemption after a blowout loss to Pella Christian in the de facto district championship game from last season.
Both the Trojans and Eagles come in highly ranked at #5 and #2 respectively, but the Eagles have the history after getting out to a 56-6 lead at halftime last year as they scored on their first eight possessions. The Trojans will have to use a hard hitting rushing attack led by Hunter Tyree who has 880 yards and 12 touchdowns so far this season, which will compare to Pella Christian’s highest scoring overall offense in class 1A. Pleasantville and Pella Christian will hit the gridiron tomorrow night in Pleasantville at 7pm.
