The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock are helping support recovery efforts after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma ravaged Texas and Florida.

Assistant Operations Manager Josh Conrad tells KNIA/KRLS News that four members of their office were deployed to help with relief efforts. Conrad says many of the people on their staff have specialized training aimed to help recover from damage to infrastructure.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Red Rock and those in the Rock Island District aim to send additional aid to Puerto Rico as those relief efforts continue to unfold.
