National Red Ribbon Week is coming up.
Red Ribbon Week is a week set aside each year in October to bring awareness to alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention. This year’s Red Ribbon Week will run from October 23rd to October 31st. As part of Red Ribbon Week the Marion County Public Health Department will hold an event at the Knoxville Middle School on Tuesday, October 24th to give students a chance to have fun while staying drug free. Activities during the event include, volleyball, button making, coloring and making popcorn snacks. This years Red Ribbon Week theme is “Your Future Is Key, So Stay Drug Free.”
