Central College hosted a day full of wellness events on their campus.

At noon, they took part in the Healthiest State in the Nation walk in conjunction with Pella Corporation. Aaron Thomas, son of legendary Aplington-Parkersburg coach Ed Thomas, spoke about his father’s legacy and leadership at the Kuyper Fieldhouse in the evening. Assistant Dean of Students Kristi Leonard tells KNIA/KRLS News the campus was focused on the overall wellness of people throughout recent activities.

Pella Regional Health Center, Vermeer Corporation, and the Pella Community School District all had walks as part of the Healthiest State challenge as well.
