Two juveniles have been identified as having made threats in restrooms at the Knoxville Middle and High Schools this week. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says the schools are continuing their investigations. Pearson says there may be juvenile referrals to the police department, and there will definitely be consequences for the individuals. Names will not be release for the students involved because they are juveniles. Vague threats had been made in restrooms at both facilities.

Pearson says the school district cares deeply for the students and staff and believe they have made decisions in their best interests regarding the threats made during the week. Knoxville Police Officers are present at all Knoxville schools Friday.
