“Little Shop of Horrors” is Central College’s first mainstage production of the year and is running next week in Kruidenier Theatre.
Assistant professor of theatre C.D. Adamson tells KNIA/KRLS News the show features a score that is part rock ’n’ roll, part doo-wop and part Motown to tell the story of a florist’s assistant who finds fame, fortune and a whole lot more when he nurtures a strange and scary plant.
Central shows are Wednesday-Saturday, Oct. 18-21, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the Maytag Student Center information booth, by calling 641-628-9000 and at the door for each performance. Tickets cost $12 per adult and $6 per senior and student (free with Central ID).
