Families in Knoxville are invited to attend the Live After 5 event today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Children will have a chance to trick or treat on the downtown square as local businesses will be handing out candy. The Knoxville Hy-Vee will be providing a free hotdog, chips and drink meal to the first 359 children who attend. The KNIA/KRLS “Lil” Big Red Radio will also be on hand playing music, making announcements and handing out candy. Fun for parents will also be available as Nearwood Winery will have live music featuring the Attica Road Band from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. A costume contest will also be held with judging taking place at 9 p.m. and the winner receiving a $100 first place prize.
