The Indiana Township Fire Department’s Open House and Fall Festival and will be held tomorrow.
A free will donation dinner including chili soup and potato soup with drinks and desserts being served by the Knoxville Hy-Vee will be featured during the event. Free kids activities including Smitty’s Inflatables, pumpkin painting, fire truck tours, rope making and kids water wars will also take place. A pumpkin carving contest will also be held with the winner receiving a $50 first place prize. Chief Curt Lambirth tells KNIA/KRLS News there is plenty of food for everyone and a silent auction will be held with door prizes handed out as well. Lambirth says the event should be a good time for everyone. All proceeds of the event will go towards the purchase of new breathing apparatuses and bunker gear for the Indiana Township Fire Department. The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be at the event playing music and making announcements.
