With the season complete, the Knoxville Football Squad will now look to 2018. While the Panthers can hit the weight room, go to team camps, and other things, they will not know who they will be playing nor who will be in their district until this coming February when the Iowa High School Athletic Association re-districts all the football classes. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, he is not going to even try to predict what will happen or what teams will be in the district. This week the Association sent out a release that were would be 54 teams in class 3A. As far as how many teams per district, that remains to be seen.
