Both the boys and girls PCM cross country teams ran well at the Heart of Iowa Conference meet last night run at South Hamilton High School.

The girls placed third overall, behind North Polk and Gilbert with a team score of 109 points, while the boys placed seventh overall. Baylee Smith was the girls top individual finisher with a 10th place finish, while Kirstin Ives was in 12th, while freshman Beau Webb was 28th and Jason Stafford was in 30th on the boys side. Both squads will now take the week off to prepare for the district qualifiers, held on October 19th.
