A new person will lead the Pella Opera House, beginning next month.

The new Executive Director of the Pella Opera House is Cyndi Atkins, as she announced the move over the weekend.

Atkins has worked in public relations for over three decades, most recently at Pella Regional Health Center as the current director of communications, and previously at Central College and William Penn University. She’s earned a Master’s Degree from Drake and her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University.

Atkins will take over for Heidi Kelley, who resigned from the position near the end of October to pursue other another opportunity out of state.
