The Knoxville Girls basketball Squad will open its season with a very young group against P-C-M. The Panthers have five freshmen of the 15 players on the roster and Coach Jim Uitermarkt says those five freshmen may be thrown right in the fire. He adds the first couple of weeks in practice, the coaches have been giving the girls a lot of information and hopes the girls can put it to good use starting tonight. P-C-M is coming off a win on Friday night over Newton where Regan Freeland scored 21 points, and the Mustangs limited the Cardinals to just 2/22 from the three point line. Tonight’s game is scheduled to get underway at around 7:30.
