A Des Moines man was arrested Monday following a traffic stop in Pleasantville.

Just before 9 p.m. , 18-year-old Austin Jayne of Des Moines was stopped by law enforcement in Pleasantville for speeding. During the stop law enforcement officers found Jayne to be driving without insurance. Jayne was informed that the vehicle he was driving would need to be inventoried and towed. During the inventory officers located a round container in the center console which contained marijuana. Additionally officers located two more containers in the trunk of the vehicle in which Jayne gave permission for the officers to open. In the containers the officers located digital scales, 4 ziplock bags containing marijuana, packaging material consistent with packaging marijuana and several pipes with marijuana residue. Jayne was charged with possession with intent to deliver, a class D felony, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance. He was booked into the Marion County Jail.
