The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce recently held their Board of Directors elections with ballots being returned this past Tuesday.
Acting President Ben Butler tells KNIA/KRLS News individual member Jason Everly, Sarah Roberts with State Farm and individual member Lucas Young were all nominated and elected in an uncontested election. The Board of Directors for the Chamber had a difficult year in 2017 with more turnover than expected, but Butler says during this election the Chamber pushed to have nominees who knew they were in it for the long haul. He says the Chamber stressed to the nominees that the term is a three year term and they want to keep the Chamber consistently moving in a positive direction.
