The PCM boys basketball team will put their undefeated record on the line tonight at Nevada, while the girls will have a battle on their hands facing the perennial state tournament competitor Cubs team.

The Mustang boys took down conference contender Greene County with a huge second half performance last Friday, and will continue to run the gauntlet in the Heart of Iowa conference race against a Nevada team that is 2-2. The Mustangs have been balanced to start the season, with four separate players leading the team in scoring in their four games so far, and no player averaging more than 12.3 points per game.

The Cubs girls squad returns the majority of their class 4A state tournament team including Lexy Koudelka, a 6’2 post player averaging nearly 23 points per game. The game tonight at Nevada will have the girls tip-off at 6, with the boys to follow, and a full recap of all the action will be on KNIAKRLS.com.
