The Knoxville Public Library received a check from Iowa State Savings Bank Wednesday for $15,000 to go towards the library’s capital campaign expansion project.
David Hoke, Vice President of Marketing for the bank, presented the check to members of the campaign Wednesday morning. The library had previously received a $10,000 check from the bank making for a total donation of $25,000 to the campaign. Library Director Roslin Thompson tells KNIA/KRLS News she thanks Iowa State Savings Bank for being so community-oriented and showing their support for the library. She says it is wonderful with the donations the library is getting even closer to its goal. Thompson also says the library has been able to raise just over $24,000 towards a anonymous donation which will be matched with $25,000 for a total of $50,000 to go towards the project.
